Smooth legs, without the monthly booking

What a lifetime of leg waxing actually costs you.
You shaved this morning, and by tonight you can feel it again. You run your hand down your shin in the evening and there it is, stubble, only a few hours after the razor.
So the dress stays in the wardrobe and you reach for trousers again, even though it's warm. You plan your week around when you last shaved, or when your next wax is booked.
It's a small thing. It just never stops.
This is not your fault
A razor cuts the hair at the skin. The root is untouched, so the hair is back within a day. Wax pulls the hair out, but it grows back, and you need it long enough to wax again. Then you wait, and hide your legs while you wait.
Both methods are built to be repeated. That's not a failure on your part. That's how they work.
What you've already tried, and what it costs
- Razors. Cheap each time, but every day or two for years, plus the red bumps.
- Salon waxing. A full leg wax in the UK costs roughly £28 to £50, every four weeks or so. Thirteen visits a year comes to about £364 to £650, every year you want smooth legs.
- Home wax strips. Cheaper and messier, and the regrowth phase is the same.
- A clinic course. Full legs at a UK clinic can run to around £588 for a course of six sessions, plus the bookings and the travel.
Why the old way keeps you paying
Shaving and waxing deal with the hair you can see today. Neither one does anything about the hair that grows next week. So you pay again, and again, for as long as you want smooth legs.
What you actually need
- Something you pay for once, not every month.
- Something you use at home, on your own time, with no bookings.
- Less shaving over time, not just smooth skin for a day.
- Comfort while you use it.
- An honest answer on whether it will work on your hair.
How the SmoothPro works
The SmoothPro is an at-home IPL device. IPL stands for intense pulsed light. You shave the area first, place the head flat on the skin, and the device sends a flash of light.

The light is taken up by the dark colour in the hair. The aim is simple: less shaving over time. Results build over weeks of regular use and vary from person to person.
- Ice-cooling plate for comfort with every flash.
- 9 light levels, with auto and manual flash modes, so you can start low.
- 999,999 flashes (the maker's figure).
- Magnetic heads that click on and off.
In the box you get the SmoothPro, the extra magnetic heads, a plug adapter, protective goggles, a razor and an English manual. It has a UK plug, for the UK and Ireland.

Why the SmoothPro, and not something else
- Against the razor: the razor only ever deals with today's hair. The SmoothPro is about shaving less often as the weeks go on.
- Against salon waxing: no booking every four weeks and no growing it out first. You pay once and use it at home.
- Against a clinic course: a course of six clinic sessions for full legs can cost around £588. The SmoothPro costs a fraction of that, and you use it on your own evenings.
- Against other home devices: the SmoothPro has an ice-cooling plate for comfort, and we tell you plainly who it won't work for before you buy, not after.
- Against buying blind: change your mind within 14 days, or if it's faulty within 60 days, we refund you. For a fault, you don't need to send it back.
What it can't do
Please read this part. It matters more than anything above.
- It works on dark hair only. It does not work on grey, white, red or blonde hair. The light needs dark colour in the hair to work.
- It is not for brown or very dark skin.
- Do not use it on tattoos, moles or broken skin.
- Do not use it if you are pregnant.
- It is not instant. One session will not change much. Results build over weeks of regular use.
- Results vary from person to person.
If your hair is grey, white, red or blonde, this is not the device for you, and we would rather you didn't buy it.
What to expect

The first sessions: do a small test patch first. Then shave, put on the goggles, start on a low light level and follow the schedule in the manual. You won't see much yet. That is normal.
The next few weeks: keep to the schedule. This is where any change builds, slowly.
After that: you use it when you need it, at home, on your own time. Start now, and you are well ahead of summer.
Changed your mind, or something is wrong?
Changed your mind? Tell us within 14 days of delivery and send it back unused for a full refund. If it arrives faulty or damaged, or stops working within 60 days, send us a photo and we refund you in full. You don't need to send it back.
The SmoothPro costs about the same as two salon leg waxes. You pay once, and every session after that is one you didn't book.
Finish each session with the SmoothPro Set

Skin can feel warm after a session. The IceRoll is a stainless steel roller you keep in the fridge and roll over your skin afterwards. In the SmoothPro Set it costs only a little more than the SmoothPro on its own.
Doing this with someone else? The SmoothPro Duo gives you two devices for less than two bought separately, so you each have your own.
The SmoothPro is £85 in the UK and €99 in Ireland. Free tracked delivery to both, 14 days to change your mind, and 60 days if it's faulty.
Prices quoted are examples from published UK salon and clinic price lists and guides, checked October 2026. Your local salon or clinic may charge more or less.
